The Strategy of Doing New Things
I have always been one of these people that doesn’t like “not knowing” what’s going on. So, it’s no wonder that I have become somehwhat addicted to the whole buyer-behavior component of things. It seems that every day there is a new internet tool or gadget to try. Just yesterday, I got into two new tools. Posterous- which is where I’m writing this from and LifeSnapz.
I’m writing this from posterous because I want to give it a shot and see what the real benefit is. Still working on that. It’s supposed to be longer than a tweet and shorter than a blog post. I’m not sure I know how to do that. But then again – I wasn’t sure that I could say anything in under 140 characters either. So that’s the first lesson in applying a strategy of doing new things. You have to give them a fighting chance.
By the way – if you want to insert a picture — I guess you should do a blog post.
Lifesnapz is a twist on FLickr. It’s supposed to give you tha ability to combine pictures from various sources and then plot them out on a time and location line. Haven’t gotten that far – if you do – let me know.
OK – that’s about shorter than a blog post. Off I go. Next time – I’m going to write something from the e-mail to see if it’s better, different, easier — what. Still looking for the value on this one.
