DIY Marketers: What Do You Want?
Check out my new baby. "DIYMarketers." I've been obsessed with this for more than a few months now. It's the new membership site slated for a soft launch in a few weeks and a full-out launch in January.
DIY Marketers is a membership site dedicated to in-house marketing people, who might not be "trained" in marketing, but have the responsibility to get and keep customers. So, if you're a small business owner, entrepreneur, consultant, or sales person in a manufacturing company — this site is for YOU.
The first offering of the site is a series of how-to marketing courses:
- Practical Marketers – the introductory course to marketing and marketing management.
- Marketing Masters – the intermediate course where you design and build a marketing system that makes you irresistible to your customers.
- Marketing Geniuses – A community of marketers on the cutting edge of getting and keeping profitable customers that you love – that love you back.
The site will also feature at least one forum where you can mingle, network and share effective and adaptable marketing strategies.
If you're already a member of Marketing Profs and Marketing Sherpa, this would be the complementary community where you would put their resources to WORK in your marketing strategy.
If you're a DIY Marketer – what would YOU want to see on the site that would make it worthwhile for you to join?

Checklists have always been my friend. Usually very concise and easy to follow, I find them very helpful in trying to get things done.
I really look forward to “DIYMarketers.” Thanks!
Hi Ivana…
Great ideas!!! I’d love to see:
“Best Practices” area of course
Examples of postcards (which i prefer to letters)
Examples of Press Releases that ACTUALLY get read
Examples of emails that are not “salesy”
Those are off the top of my head and if i think of more I’ll be back!
