Do You Have the Courage to Play?

I watched the Super Bowl last night. I’m not a football fan, but I am a Steeler fan for many reasons only one of which is because I am from Pittsburgh.
This kind of economic environment is really nothing new for “Pittsburghers.” We’re pretty used to it. Back in the ’70′s when steel started its slow, steady and certain tumble decimating our communities and shattering assumptions, there was a small group in the Steel City that had the courage to play. The Steelers organization was one of them, city leadership was another and the gritty residents of Pittsburgh were the third.
It takes courage to play a game that looks like you’re going to lose. It takes courage to pull together, set egos aside and do the hard work that needs to be done. It takes courage to give yourself a goal that’s more for the whole than it is for yourself. And in the end — you will be rewarded. Sometimes the reward is something tangible – like 6 Super Bowl trophies, money for the team and the players. But often it’s that on-going ember of knowing that you’ve done something that many continue to see as luck.
This economic environment is trying to make small business feel like we’re in a game we can’t win with the clock running out. Yesterday’s Super Bowl was there to show us that you have to play to win.
If you are in a small business and feeling like it’s hard to play today – you have the opportunity to take part in a program that’s committed to getting you playing to win – the Power of Three Tele- Seminar that I’m doing with Mike Michalowicz, the Toilet Paper Entrepreneur.
You still have time to register - I’m going to be working with the people who are in the course and choose to go forward to implement their strategies. I’ll be featuring their strategies, what’s working, what isn’t and what we’re doing to change our approach.
Join us — if you have the courage to play.

Hi Ivana,
I could not see a contact section on your website, but wanted to say this is a great initiative of yours and I hope many get the courage to join in and play.
