Find a Good Cause To Support That Builds Your Brand

Some people are just naturally philanthropic. Â They volunteer, they give their time helping others and are always involved in a charity. Â This is a good thing. Â I’ve just never been drawn to something like that. Â At least not yet. Â But when I saw this latest blog post from John Warrillow, author of “Built to Sell” Â I realized that finding a cause to support might just be a function of finding a cause that supports your brand!
“Built to Sell” is a book about turning your business into a money machine.  If you’ve read the e-Myth, then you get the picture.  Systematize your business in a way that is repeatable, teachable and valuable and you will find yourself at the heart of a business enough value that you can have fun running it or sell to someone else you can take it over easily.
But look at what else John has done. Â He’s taken his experience in M&A and investing in businesses and created a partnership with Kiva.org. Â He’s showing us that you’re never too small to invest in another business.
So even if you’re like me and aren’t that involved in philanthropic activities. Â Take a look around your community and the web for causes that your brand can support that support your brand as well.
